Nrc.next column on gaming in South Korea

Last couple of weeks were rather epic (or wicked awesome or superduper, or… well you get the point). Next to hanging out in Hong Kong, I travelled to one of my favorite countries, South-Korea. My road trip took me from Seoul, to Jeonju, to Jinju, to Busan (and back again). In every Korean hotel there’s a PC (yes a gaming PC!) and two TV channels to watch e-sports (i.e. professional gaming). I wrote a column about it for nrc.next.

Elk land heeft zijn nationale sport. Voor Nederland is dat voetbal. Voor Zuid-Korea spant het om honkbal en het in competitieverband spelen van strategiespellen.
