Profiled in Limburgs Dagblad

Sitting down and talking extensively about “your career” might be something that will always be a bit weird to me. I’m not that old (my birthday is coming up… so… yeah). Yet, Paul Gageldonk, one of the editors of Dagblad De Limburger, sat down with me and we had a very good and wide-ranging conversation about military games, Obama, game studies and gamification. People who know me well might be familiar with this material, but those who don’t might get a sense of “a day in the life of a game scholar” as well as my current thinking about games and ambivalence towards so much that I hold so dear.

In deze ludic age zijn games geen exclusief domein meer voor puistige nerds.
